Clear status tiles, switches, sliders and scene buttons. Useful detail stays within reach.
Let's talk ↗HOMES & BUSINESSES ACROSS GAUTENG
See your cameras. Understand your power. Control the everyday.
Bring your technology together, on the wall and in your hand.
Illustrative Smart Sense dashboard, based on Home Assistant controls. Simulated readings and a generated camera image.
Smart Integration & Automation Technology that makes sense.
LESS APP-HOPPING. MORE LIVING.
Power, cameras, alarms and everyday controls often live in separate apps. We connect compatible systems into one useful dashboard and routines that fit your day.
This is what Smart Sense can offer. Your solution includes the features that suit your needs, existing equipment and budget.
SEE WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY USE
One customer dashboard, adapted to the screen. Cameras, power and controls sit together. On a phone, the same groups stack into a clear, scrollable view.
Try it: adjust a brightness or irrigation slider, change the temperature, or select Vacation. All actions stay inside this demonstration.
I want a setup like this ↗Clear status tiles, switches, sliders and scene buttons. Useful detail stays within reach.
We assess the equipment you own, then bring compatible controls and information together.
A shared household screen or a focused staff view, with access and controls agreed for each user.
WHAT WE CAN BRING TOGETHER
Choose the capabilities that make a difference. We check compatibility and agree the scope before installation.
Know what you’re using, respond to outages and protect your battery reserves.
Estimated costs using your configured tariff, outage and low-battery alerts, unusual-consumption notifications, load priorities and staggered starts. Heavy loads restart only after agreed stable-power conditions. Solar is not required for basic monitoring and automation. Backup power is needed for the hub, network and relevant controls during outages.
Useful schedules, visible energy use and better timing for your heavy loads.
Geyser heating can pause during holidays, with a planned warm-up before your return. Pool filtration continues, with runtime tracking, missed-time rescheduling and alerts if the target cannot be met. Stable switching avoids rapid cycling as clouds pass. Temperature controls require suitable sensors or controllers; variable-speed pumps require compatible equipment. Appliance thermostats and independent safety protections remain in place.
Your alarm becomes part of a connected home or business, with useful status and scenes.
Our own working Texecom integration is the reference for this offering. Other panels and retrofit routes are assessed separately. Supported alarm states can drive Home, Away, Night and Vacation scenes. Compatible alarm PIR sensors can also report movement while disarmed, where the integration exposes their states. New scenes are configured and tested for each installation.
From sunrise and sunset schedules to a welcoming arrival after dark.
Use schedules, bedtime scenes or compatible alarm PIRs and dedicated movement sensors. Motion lighting is a customer choice. Sensible delays and manual overrides prevent routines from fighting normal use. Ordinary movement and actual alarm events have different actions, with sensible lighting behaviour after power returns.
Know whether it’s closed, with real feedback instead of guesswork.
A closed-position sensor confirms closed or not fully closed. Open, moving and partial positions need additional sensors or controller feedback. We verify state rather than assuming a command worked. Automatic closing is customer-selected, with suitable obstruction protection and the motor’s safety features preserved.
Flexible watering, easy runtime adjustments and less wasted water.
Sequence zones, start, stop or skip a cycle and see the next run. A local rain sensor can stop active watering and block scheduled runs, followed by an agreed delay. Forecasts can help postpone a run but do not prove rain at your property. The controller must enforce a maximum runtime independently. Our seven-zone home setup is the reference; rain sensing is a planned enhancement, demonstrated here as a concept.
Keep useful views close, and let camera events work with lights and alarms.
We assess Hikvision, Blue Iris and other systems individually. Detection areas, schedules and alarm modes help keep alerts relevant. Person, vehicle and line-crossing detection depend on hardware or analytics. Existing recorders keep recording. Video access alone does not guarantee event detection or dashboard playback; playback is included only where verified.
A comfortable space that follows your day, whether you’re home or at work.
Bring supported on/off, temperature and operating modes into the dashboard. Link office hours, arrival or Vacation Mode to agreed settings. Wi-Fi alone does not guarantee compatibility; we assess the unit and control method, including what status feedback is available.
Get an early warning where an unnoticed leak could cause damage.
We select sensor locations and agree the response. Suitable installations can close a water valve and send an alert. Sensor, valve, plumbing and power requirements are assessed as part of your tailored solution, with manual operation and handover included in the plan.
THE DIFFERENCE IS WORKING TOGETHER
Individual controls are useful. Connected routines make them fit your day. These are examples we can configure around your equipment and preferences.
AWAY, WITH A PLAN
Request supported alarm arming and confirm its actual state. Notify if it fails.
Pause normal geyser heating and adjust climate routines. Keep pool filtration scheduled.
Vary selected evening lights, then restore agreed routines when you return.
Same property. Same controls. A layout that fits.
FROM A SCREEN TO A SOLUTION
We can supply and configure the hub, suitable tablet, fitted wall mount and power arrangement as part of your solution.
You get a dashboard built around what matters, with commissioning, training and agreed ongoing support.
SMART SENSE AT WORK
Scheduled lighting and climate, power visibility and an opening or closing routine your team can understand.
Camera visibility, supported alarm notifications and useful access checks, together in a focused dashboard.
Hot-water schedules, climate routines, outdoor lighting and irrigation planned around the property’s needs.
FROM FIRST CONVERSATION TO EVERYDAY USE
Start small or bring several systems together. We agree what will be supplied, configured and supported before work starts.
Your goals, equipment, compatibility and network readiness.
A tailored scope with hardware, installation and services explained.
Configure and test the agreed features with suitable specialists where needed.
Learn the dashboards, daily controls and manual overrides.
Ongoing assistance and future additions, with terms agreed in your quote.
BUILT ON PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE
Our home setup brings together Deye energy readings, Sonoff controls, a working Texecom alarm integration, Blue Iris views and seven irrigation zones.
We build on that experience while checking every new customer’s equipment and requirements.

No. We start with your exact models and required features. Some systems connect directly, others need an interface, and some may not expose everything you want. We explain the options first.
Local integrations can work while the hub, network and devices stay powered. Cloud features and remote access need internet. We plan the relevant backup power and test the agreed failure and recovery behaviour.
No. Everything shown here is a demonstration with simulated values. Your actual controls run in your own configured system, with appropriate access permissions and secure remote access where included.
No. Monitoring, schedules, lighting, security and dashboards can be useful without solar. Where solar and battery data are available, we can use them to guide agreed load-control decisions.
Mains switching, electrical protection, plumbing and changes to gates or alarm systems require suitable specialists. Responsibilities, safety requirements and the installation scope are agreed in the quotation.
Each solution is quoted around the equipment, integrations and support you need. There is no requirement to buy every capability shown here. Hardware, setup, specialist work and any ongoing services are explained before you commit. No fixed electricity or water saving is promised.
